The District Chief Executive for Ho West, Victor Ernest Apau has stated that the friendly environment and the practical achievements in agriculture in his district is an enough indication to anyone interested in farming to come and invest in the district.
The Hon. DCE made this known in a town hall meeting Thursday to keep residents informed about development projects in the district that they should take advantage of.
The assembly under the Planting for Food and Jobs is supporting farmers with equipment, fertilizers and seedlings to improve food production. An achievement that makes the district ranking highest in terms of agriculture production in the Volta Region.
The DCE also took residents and the press to all demonstration farms within the assembly premises as evidence to the bigger picture within the district.
The farms have citrus, cowpea, beans, maize and pawpaw.
He also indicated that the district will be celebrating the achievement in agric and education having produced the best BECE candidate in 2018.
The DCE responded to questions bothering health, agriculture, one district one factory, education, roads, sanitation among other others.
