Parliamentary Standing Committee on Gender and Children engages stakeholders in Volta Region

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Gender and Children has held a day’s stakeholders meeting in the Volta Regional capital, Ho on Friday November 8, 2019.

The engagement according to members of the committee was meant to gather first hand information from departments implementing government policies under the Ministry Gender, Children and Social Protection so as to close any disconnect between parliament and the people.

Various state agencies such as the Ghana Education Service, National Commission for Civic Education, National Peace Council, Department of Gender, Department of Children, School Feeding Program took turns to address the gathering.
