The Ghana Journalists Association has honoured Ex TV’s Christian Sowada after adjudging his entry as the best in a recently held Local Governance competition for Ghanaian journalists.
The Communications Studies student of the African University College of Communications was presented a cash prize by the GJA president, Dr. Affail Monney at an event in Abura Hotel, Aburi on Saturday February 1, 2020.
His entry proposed 10 points that can help improve the local governance system in Ghana.
A member of the STAR Ghana-GJA project unit, Rebecca Ekpe, describes his entry as more precise over other entries.
The competition forms part of the Media-Civil Society Organisations partnership for inclusive local governance project by the GJA funded by Star Ghana.
As a volunteer, Christian is responsible for news and related audiovisuals on www.extvgh.com, an online channel in Ho, Volta Region.
