[Video] Disregard NDC claims of military intimidation in Ho West – NPP Director of Communication

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ho West Constituency of the Volta Region is calling on the public, especially people outside the constituency to disregard any report of intimidation by members of the Ghana Armed Forces who are deployed to help police the porous borders of the constituency during this COVID-19 pandemic.

The NPP in a press conference on Friday July 10, 2020 says reports by the MP for the area, Hon. Emmanuel Bedzrah and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is as a result of the NPP’s vigilance to prevent foreigners, mostly Togolese from registering in the ongoing voter registration exercise

Constituency Director of Communication, Stephen Akpabli who addressed the press also stated that, the party is independent off the operations of security services in the country.

Constituency Chairman, David Azim on his part has blamed some chiefs within the area who he accused of aligning with the NDC to give a bad image to the NPP on recent developments in Holuta to satisfy their partisan interests.
