Volta FA, Ex-Black Stars player donate to general public

Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) together with Ex-Ghana international Obed Mensah Aguadze donated face masks and hand sanitizers to residents of the regional capital, Ho.

The exercise was carried out on Saturday after the regional FA led by Chairman Daniel Agbogah had paid a visit to Obed Mensah Aguadze who represented Ghana in the 70s.

The 78-year-old was part of the Blacks Stars team that reached the final of the 1972 Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Sudan.

The VRFA donated toiletries to the retired footballer as they continue several initiatives to recognise various individuals who have contributed towards the promotion of the game in the region.

In the Ho Market on Saturday morning, the general public was given face masks and hand sanitizers donated to the regional body by the Ghana Black Stars through the GFA.

Meanwhile, the VRFA and together with the Ketu Municipal Football Association engaged in similar exercise as they shared protective equipment to residents close to the Aflao Border on Thursday.
