Peki Referees end Refresher Course for members

Referees in the Peki District of the Volta Region have ended a 3 day training for members as part of their preparation towards a new football season.

The period was also used to review refereeing decisions and to also assess the physical fitness of members.

Selorm Yao Bless, Class One Referee (with back to camera)

Premier League referee, Selorm Yao Bless was also honoured by the zone for his sterling performance in the 2020/2021 league.

According to the district chairman, Ernest Akatey, ‘his rise meant alot to the District and the Region as a whole especially serving as a great motivation to the young ones in the District. The District is keen on making it young ones work hard to become like him.’

Referees undergoing training


Over thirty referees took part in the training from October 8-10, 2021.

Volta Region Secretary of the Referees Association of Ghana, Mr. Seyram Akude who graced the occasion tasked referees to keep working hard to project the good image of Ghana football.
