Home Stars Football Club, a Division 2 side in Ho, Volta region, will engage Ghana’s national junior side, the Black Starlets (u17) in a friendly on Sunday, 13 February, 2022, at the Ho Sports Stadium.
The game will serve as a preparation for both sides, most especially Home Stars FC who are looking forward to the 2021/2022 season in the Volta Regional Division 2 League, which kicks off on Saturday, 19 February, 2022.
Coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side who have been in camp for a month will be using the game to prepare his team for the upcoming WAFU ZONE B Tournament.
Head Coach of Home Stars FC, Christian Chibueze will use the game to trim the rough edges of the team and access his new players ahead of the new season after sending the team to last season’s Super Middle League final and eventually loosing on penalties to Akatsi All Stars FC, who earned promotion to the National Division 1 League.
The Black Starlets with its technical team will arrive in the Volta regional capital, Ho on Saturday, 12 February, 2022, ahead of the game on Sunday, 13 February, 2022.
