GJA Urges HTU to Run Media and Communication Courses

The president of Ghana Journalists’ Association, Dr. Affail Monney has reminded Ho Technical University management of a proposal made to the University by the former Volta and Oti Ghana Journalists association chairman, Kafui Kanye to run media and communication courses in the university.

“I will like to reiterate the proposal by our iconic just immediate past chairman of Volta and Oti GJA, Kafui Kanye for Ho Technical University to introduce media and communication studies using Volta premier fm as the learning center.”

He further cited similar stride made by Ghana Institute of Journalism and appeal to other higher learning institutions to follow suite.

“The Ghana institution of journalism is also spearheading the media capacity enhancement program which was launched last month. We kindly appeal to other. institutes of higher learning follow suite.”

He made this known at Volta Premier FM’s silver anniversary durbar held onWednesday, 16th February, 2022 at G.M Afeti Auditorium at Ho Technical University.
