NCA conditionally approved the sale of Vodafone Ghana

The National Communication Authority (NCA) have approved the transfer of 70 percent shares of Ghana telecommunications company limited held by Vodafone Ghana to a Telecel group pending finalization of other transaction processes.

This was communicated via press release issued by National Communication Authority on Monday 16th January, 2023 after Telecel group submitted revised documents that satisfied part of the requirements for the purchase.

When the purchase transaction is complete, Telecel group will become the new owner of the Ghana Telecommunication company, Vodafone Ghana.
