The Volta Regional Football Association on Friday, 31st March, 2023, signed a one year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with From Home Group of Companies (Aƒe Lotto), to be title sponsor of the 2022/2023 FA cup competition.
The deal is worth Gh¢25,000.00 and will be paid in two tranches, of which the VRFA has been paid the first tranche of Gh¢10,000.00.
In a short speech by the founder and bankroller of From Home Group of Companies, Mr Joe Ayivor, the support is to help the FA to properly organise football to meet the expectations of fans.
VRFA chairman, Mr. Daniel Agbogah, was thankful to Mr. Ayivor for bringing his company on board to help develop the game of football in the Volta and Oti regions.
The Volta FA Cup competition which is in its second season. The maiden edition took place in 2021/22 football season.
Ho based Access Bank Division One League campaigners, Volta Rangers FC won the trophy after beating Adidome Unity Stars FC 8-7 on penalties.
The competition is set get a new winner this season because Rangers are now campaigning in the national division one league.
The finalist of the competition automatically qualify for the national FA Cup competition.
