Volta U17 beat Northern Region U17 in group B of the ongoing KGL Foundation U17 Colts Championship

The Volta Regional U17 Colts team beat Northern Region in the maiden KGL Foundation U17 Colts Championship on Saturday September 30,2023 at the Bantama Astro Turf in Kumasi.

The Volta team struggled in the first half ending the half 0-0 but came back to beat their Northern counter part 2-0 in the second half of the game.

Akwetey Setsoafia Jnr got the first goal on the 76th minute with Christopher Adzie sealing the win on the 80th minute.

Team Volta now lies 2nd in the group standings behind Greater Accra who won Upper East by 5-1.

Next game for the Volta reps will be on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 8:00am.
