2026 FIFA World Cup: Black Stars Begins Qualification Campaign With a Win

Ghana Black Stars kick start their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a 1-0 victory against Madagascar at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, 17th November, 2023.

The 90 plus 6 minute header by Inaki Williams, which doubles as his first goal for the Black Stars was enough to deliver the stars the needed victory at home.

The Black Stars will travel to face Comoros in their next World Cup qualifies feature on Tuesday, 21st November, 2023.

Ghana seeks qualification for their fifth FIFA World Cup tournament to be staged in USA, Mexico and Canada in 2026.
