The founder of Zena Foundation, a non governmental organisation based in Ho, Rev. Dr. Naomi Arthur has renovated the Kindergarten 1 classroom of the Freetown D/A Basic School in the Ho Municipality to commemorate her 39th birthday which falls on December 1, 2023.
The renovation works included painting of the walls and floor, and painting of the learning materials which faded.
The gospel musician also donated a Television Set (TV) to enhance the learning activities of nursery kindergarten pupils.
Mr. Anthony Agbeme of Zena Foundation led a team to mark Dr. Arthur’s birthday on Monday, December 4, 2023.
Rev. Dr. Naomi Arthur who is currently out of the country joined the activities online and stated that the gesture is to encourage the young ones to embrace education
” I believe this little token or gesture is just to encourage our kids out there to remember that education is something that can take them up to wherever they want to be.”
Zena Foundation is non governmental organization established in the year 2018 to help less privilege school going children in deprived communities to access quality education.
Rev. Dr. Naomi is also the president of Nanart Music and have released many singles including “Captured by Favour” and “Nye Dela (My Saviour)”
