The Volta Boxing Federation in collaboration with Shepherd Night Club hosted a boxing day bout dubbed “Night of Honour and Pride”.
The contest included four(4) amateur bouts, two(2) professional bouts and one (1) exhibition bout. The bouts were staged to thrill boxing fans as part of the Christmas and the New Year activities.
Fadi Ibrahim drew with Gaza King while Abu Salifu defeated Francis Tsadidey through a TKO.
Abubakar Nurudeen also defeated David Yeboah after all judges scored in his favour. The last unmatured fight was between Prudence Bubah and Sherif Abubakar where Prudence won through a TKO in the second(Round 2).
At the professional level, Samuel Tordzro over powered Nestor Desmond. Habib Zubair and Wisdom Agboglenu battled it out in the middle weight contest.
In the exhibition bout, Nathaniel Nukpe and Anamah Dotse ( a.k.a Polopala) also gave the fans something to cheer.
