Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!!! Christian Chibueze the new ring announcer on the block

Introducing Christian Chibueze (Eze1) the new boxing master of ceremony (MC) or Ring Announcer from Ho, Volta Region.

Becoming a boxing announcer requires a blend of passion for the sport, strong communication skills, and knowledge of boxing rules.

The ring announcer sets the mood for the crowd by introducing fighters, their statistics, and generally building momentum as the fighters enter the ring and are instructed by the referee.

Christian Chibueze has added up the new role as a ring announcer, and he wants to continue enjoying it, as the first opportunity was offered by the Volta Boxing Federation, in collaboration with Shepherd Night Club, Ho, which hosted a boxing day bout dubbed “Night of Honour and Pride 2”, on 26th of December, 2023.

After a thrilling night of boxing, he confirmed to Ex Sports that he enjoyed the role and would love to continue as a boxing MC or ring announcer.

Christian Chibueze (Eze1) is a Sports Journalist with Global FM, Ho. He loves and has passion for boxing and works for Aborigines Boxing Promotions as a media officer.

He also doubles as a football Coach, currently with Home Stars Football Club based in Ho. Eze1 qualified them from the Volta Regional Division 2 League to play in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Football Association’s Access Bank Division 1 League.
