The Blacks Stars of Ghana begins their AFCON campaign at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny stadium on Sunday, January 14,2024.
The four-time champions are chasing their first AFCON trophy in 41 years.
The Black Stars are currently lying 3rd on the medal table with four titles. The West African nation has played in 5 silver medals with one bronze in their AFCON history.
Ahead of the African flagship championship, Ghana have won just one of their last five matches across all competitions while losing three and claiming drawing one since last October.
Cape Verde are winless in five of their last six outings, managing one draw and losing four since September 2023.
The group B game between Ghana and Cape Verde will kick off at 8:00pm(20:00 GMT).
