Former Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan and his team on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 launched the all regional games in the Volta Region.
The maiden competition will include football,volleyball, basketball, Athletic, tennis,arm wrestling and Parry games.
Speaking on the modalities at the Volta Regional Coordinating Council, Asamoah Gyan added that talents that are registered under juvenile teams in the nation are not eligible to compete in the mini Olympics.
He also announced the age limit for the competition. He stated that the age limit for participants is pegged at 18years to 23years.

He thanked and showed appreciation to the people of the Volta Region.
“I am very happy visiting Volta for this special project and will wish the region participate massively in it.”
The management of the All Regional Games added that, individuals who are vested in sewing jerseys and sports wears can also register which will give them a chance to sew the teams jersey.
The main launch for the games will be on Saturday June 15, 2024 at the Baba Yara sport stadium,Kumasi -Ashanti Region.
The representative of the Volta Regional Coordinating Council on behalf the Regional Minister pledged the council’s total support for the All Regional Games.
The Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Divine R.K. Bosson in his speech also promised to sponsor any team that will represent the Region in the maiden All Regional Games.
The games will feature all sixteen (16) regions in the country.
