True Future Foundation Supports Schools in Abutia to Go Green on Green Ghana Day

True Future Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainability, partnered with schools in Abutia to plant trees and promote eco-friendly practices on 7th of June, 2024, to mark this year’s Green Ghana Day.


The event saw students, teachers, and community members coming together to plant over 500 trees in school compounds and surrounding areas. The initiative aims to combat climate change, improve air quality, and create a greener future for generations to come.

The True Future Foundation provided the trees, tools, and expertise, while the schools provided the enthusiasm and labor. The event included educational sessions on the importance of tree planting, sustainable living, and environmental stewardship.


Mr. Komlah Ezeh, Executive Director of True Future Foundation. said “We are thrilled to support these schools in Abutia and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders,”
He also said “Together, we can make a difference and create a greener, brighter future for all.”

The Green Ghana Day tree-planting initiative is an annual event instituted by the Government of Ghana that brings together individuals, organizations, and communities to promote environmental sustainability and protect Ghana’s natural resources.
