Volta Regional Football Association Division two middle league commences in Ho

Volta Regional Football Association Division two middle league commenced in the Volta Regional capital,Ho on Saturday June 22,2024 with eight clubs featuring in the season’s keenly contested division two games.The winner of the one week championship is expected to represent the Volta Region in the 2024/2025 division one League in Zone 3.

The teams include Inter Allies, Kpetoe Diamond FC,Sons of Thunder, Selion FC, WAFA, Nazareth FC,Keta FC and Likpe Heroes FC.

The 2023/2024 middle league kicked off as Likpe Heroes held Kpetoe Diamond FC to a 1-1 draw in the first game of the day.
Kpetoe Diamond FC opened the scores through a penalty kick by Robert Tetteh before Adams Adzeglo levelling it on the 39th minute.

Kpetoe Diamond FC will have their second game on Monday June 24,2024 against Nazareth FC at 3pm at the Ho Sports stadium.

Nazareth FC fought for all three maximum points as they beat Inter Allies by 2-1 in the second game of match day one.
Skipper Samuel Boakye put experienced Inter Allies ahead on the 40th minute.
New comers of the VRFA division two middle league neutralized the scores after Awudu Karim converted a penalty on the 67th minute.
Nazareth FC finally sealed the win on the 70th minute through Abdul Aziz Aliu.
Inter Allies FC will take on Likpe Heroes FC in their second game on Monday June 24,2024 at 1:00pm(13:00GMT).

The games will continue on Sunday June 23,2024 as Ho based side Selion FC commences their adventure in the middle league against Ahamasu Sons of Thunder FC at 1:00 pm( 13:00GMT).

The last game will be between Keta FC and former Ghana Premier league side West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).The crucial game kicks off at 3:00pm(15:00Pm).
