Second edition of Melike Sports Konsult’s goalkeepers clinic commences

The second edition of Melike Sports Konsult’s goalkeepers clinic commenced on Tuesday August 20, 2024.

The goalkeepers clinic which is aimed at producing safest pair of hands for football clubs in the region and beyond commenced with a one day conference and theoritical seminar at the Adonai University College of Research and Entrepreneurship,Ho.

The participants were taken through tips to make them great goalkeepers.
The young and upcoming goalkeepers were taken through the laws of the game by renowned Ghana premier league referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe.

Mr. Senorgbe took participants through law 12 (12.3 Disciplinary actions) of the laws of the game.

They young athletes were advised to make themselves abreast with the laws of the game as the laws keep changing yearly.

Rev. Noble Tulasi urged participants to desire to be great goalkeepers, determine, persevere,have faith and also make God a core value in their lives.

The 3rd speaker at the conference, Miss Tilda Elinam Acorlor of GBC- Volta Star Radio encouraged the ambitious goalkeepers to make good use of social media. She advised the young talents to share their training performances on their social media handles so as to sell themselves to the football world.

Among the participants was a 5 year old Sterling Adalah who is poised to be a great goalkeeper like the founder Dzado Melike (Former goalkeeper of King Faisal).

The practical model of the clinic will commence on Wednesday August 21 and end on August 25, 2024 at Dave community park.
