Elorm Borborbor Group Celebrates One Year Anniversary

By: Christopher Ebenezer Anku

Elorm Borborbor group, crowned the 2024 national best borborbor group in Ghana, has celebrated its one-year anniversary on January 4, 2025, at Saviefe Agorkpo, in the Ho West district of the Volta region.

As part of their anniversary celebrations, the group invited fellow Borborbor groups from nearby communities in the Ho West district to celebrate with them.

In addition to the anniversary celebrations, the group donated public address systems to the community, as part of their support to the community’s development.

The event also served as an opportunity for the group to put measures in place to improve their performance in subsequent years.

Elorm Borborbor group, participated in a competition dubbed “National Borborbor Street carnival” during last year’s Asogli Teza celebrations, in the Volta regional capital, Ho, and was crowned the national best after three consecutive rounds of performance on the night. Notably, the group was less than a year old when they joined the national competition.

The group has solidified its position as one of the best groups in Ghana.
