National Sports Authority has taken a step towards the modernisation of sports in Ghana with an official launch of the Matchday Brochure Project at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The novel initiative, developed by Aurum Global Partners in collaboration with the National Sports Authority (NSA), is aimed at showcasing Ghana’s sporting ecosystem on the international stage.
The launch was attended by 52 representatives of federations across the sports fraternity under the National Sports Authority.
President of Aurum Global Partners, Dr. Steven Blessing Ackah, described the project as a “turning point for Ghana’s sports”, describing it as a potential bait for attracting investors, promoting transparency, and strengthening partnerships with international bodies such as CAF and FIFA.
The NSA Director-General, Mr. Yaw Ampofo-Ankrah promised a full institutional support, admonishing the federations under his authority to cooperate with Aurum Global Partners, which serves as the only state-authorized body mandated to produce the brochure.
> “The Matchday Brochure is a powerful tool to position Ghana sports globally. It will serve as a reference point for our federations and strengthen our ties with global sports partners,”
The brochure is expected to be first shared with the Ghana Football Association (GFA), before sharing it with the international organisations and diplomatic missions.
The Matchday Brochure places much spotlight on the Black Stars of Ghana and their qualifying journey through the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The first edition of the matchday brochure touched on the team’s preparation, performance, and ambition to position Ghana football on the world stage.
The brochure also profiled other federations and athletes; shaping the country’s sporting identity.
The matchday brochure provides a credible centralized database on Ghana sports, attracts sponsorship and foreign investment, strengthens collaboration with FIFA, CAF, and international federation and also serves as a branding and sports diplomacy tool for Ghana.
The Matchday Brochure affirms the commitment of Ghana’s readiness to include innovation, modernity, and international partnerships in building a world-class sporting industry.
