Klefe United Football Club’s new Head Coach, Roland “Dhel” Mensah, has set his sights on steering the team to the middle league this season, a target that aligns with the club’s ambitious growth plans.
Speaking in an interview with Ex TV, Mensah was clear about his immediate objective:
“To be able to send the team to middle league for this season.”
The budding tactician officially joined Klefe United on a two-year contract with agreed key performance indicators (KPIs). The club announced his appointment with optimism, describing him as a coach with both experience and passion to match their ambitions.
Mensah’s coaching résumé includes stints with Destiny Stars FC (Juvenile Head Coach), White Doves FC (Division 3 Head Coach), Takla Royal Profs (Division 2 Assistant Coach), and Akoefe United FC (Division 2 Head Coach). His record of guiding grassroots talent and managing clubs across Ghana’s football pyramid is seen as a strong foundation for Klefe United’s aspirations.
In unveiling their new coach, the club stated:
“Roland has the credentials and passion to do this, and we are excited he is joining us on our ambitious journey.”
Klefe United will compete in the Volta Regional Division Two League, where competition for middle league slots is fierce.
With Mensah at the helm, the club hopes to not only challenge for qualification but also build a sustainable path to higher divisions.
