Ghana drawn alongside seven times winners of AFCON in group B

Ghana on Thursday October 12,2023 has been drawn alongside seven times winners,Egypt in group B of the the 2023 African Cup Of Nations,Ivory Coast 2023.

The draw which took place in Abidjan, Ivory Coast on Thursday October 12, saw Ghana drawn to the same group with Egypt,Cape Verde and Mozambique.
The Black Stars of Ghana will begin another search for the continent’s prestigious trophy after last winning it in 1982.

The team has won the Africa Cup of Nations four times (1963, 1965, 1978, and 1982), while finishing as runners-up five times (1968, 1970, 1992, 2010, and 2015).
