Preview: Hohoe United hosts Bebeto FC as MTN FA cup preliminary round kicks off on October 28

Hohoe United will on Saturday October 28, 2023 host Volta Regional Football Association Division two side Bebeto FC in the preliminary round of the 2023/2024 MTN FA cup at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.
The division one league entrants will have their first taste of the competition with some FA cup experienced players from Volta Rangers while Bebeto Fc who exited the 2020/2021 season in the R64 after losing 2-1 to Kpando Heart of Lions will count on the experience gathered from the previous season.

Meanwhile Akpini Stars from Kpando will play home to 2022/2023 Afe Lotto Volta FA cup winners, Aflao Agbogba Fc at the Ho Sports Stadium in their first appearance in the history of the competition.

In Sogakofe, 2022/2023 Adonai Estate Volta division two middle league runners up,Inter Allies will battle it out with Akatsi based division one club,Akatsi All Stars at the WAFA park.

On Sunday October 29,2023,Home Stars FC takes on Access Bank Division league counterpart Uncle T United at the Ho Sports Stadium.

This will be the game to watch in the Volta Region as both teams will under study each other ahead of their November 5 division one league encounter at the same venue,Ho Sports Stadium.

Winners in the first phase of the competition will be paired against premier leagues clubs in the R64.
