Ivory Coast beat Nigeria to win the 34th Africa Cup of Nations on February 11, 2024 at the Stade Olympique Alassane Ouattara, Abidjan
The elephants came back from a 38th minute goal from William Troost-Ekong to win beat Nigeria 2-1 after regulation time.
Frank Kessie put Ivory Coast leveled with his 62nd minute goal before a sterling 81st minutes goal from Sebastien Haller. The two goals handed Ivory Coast their third AFCON trophy after 34 editions. The elephants won the prestigious continental trophy in 1992 and 2015.
