Ho Municipal Football Association organizes a one day seminar for media officers of division three clubs

Ho Municipal Football Association has organized a one-day seminar for media officers of division three clubs on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at the Volta Regional Football Association secretariat in Ho.

The one-day seminar enlightened participants on match day updates and its importance, social media brands and marketing and the use of social media flyers.

On the use of social media flyers, Raymond Kodjoe Tsiagbe urged media officers to make their social media flyers look attractive and catchy.

“Your social media flyer should have eye-catching designs.They should have vibrant colours, bold fonts and high quality images.”

He added that this will help get the attention of fans and followers of the club on social media.

Mr. Tsiagbe also encouraged participants to make clear messages, strong calls to actions by adding links to their websites, and all their social media platforms.

Ending his presentation, Raymond Kodjoe Tsiagbe advised the club media officers to make their flyers mobile friendly.The flyers should have a mobile-friendly layouts.

Media officers should use brand colours for logos and fonts to create a cohesive look across all social media marketing materials and the flyers should be unique as well.

Three times Volta Regional Sports Personality of the year and Venue Media Officer of the Ghana Football Association, Miss Tilda Elinam Acolor, speaking on match updates and its importance, entreated participants to make their updates accurate and concise with clear and simple language.

“Your match updates should be accurate and consise.Use clear simple language and avoid unnecessary updates.”

Miss Tilda added that match updates should be timely. She urged media officers to focus on the records of the game,use visual where necessary and must be objective.

The club administrator of division one league side Home Stars Football Club, Emil Atandor. Mr. Atandor who spoke on social media brands and marketing, took participants through the impacts of social media on clubs, branding and marketing of clubs.

Media officers were advised to develop a weekly schedule of update for their clubs.

” Develop a consistent weekly social media content for your clubs. Each day should have a content to be updated on the club’s social media platforms.”

Media officers were advised to put what they have learnt into practice to the development of Ho municipal football as well as Volta football and Ghana as a whole.

The Municipal division three league is scheduled to kick off on Sunday April 21, 2024.
