Doctors have advised President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to self Isolate for 14 days, from 4 July, 2020, after persons believed to be close to him contracted the Coronavirus.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Information, signed by Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the President’s self Isolation is a safety precautionary measure in compliance with the Covid-19 protocol.
The statement says, as at 4 July, 2020, President Nana Addo has tested negative for Covid-19.
Nana Addo will however continue with his works as the leader of the country from the Presidential Villa of the Jubilee House, Accra.
19,388 is the number of confirmed cases in Ghana as at 4 July, 2020, with 14,330 as recoveries and the number deaths at 117.
