The rapidly growing field of artificial intelligence is set to take another step forward in Africa with the AI Africa Certification Program, an initiative by the Knowledge Web Center. The event, scheduled for November 20, 2024, will take place at the Accra Digital Center in Accra from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This certification program isn’t just an event—it’s a platform for trained AI enthusiasts to demonstrate their expertise and move closer to becoming leaders in AI training. Participants who have completed prior training will have the chance to present both foundational and advanced prompt engineering techniques in 5-minute presentations to a panel of expert judges.
These presentations are more than just showcases of skill. They form a critical part of the selection process for attaining Silver, Gold, or Platinum Trainer certifications, which will qualify participants to play key roles in the 2025 AiAfrica Training Program.
According to organizers, this initiative aims to expand the pool of qualified trainers across the continent, ensuring that Africa continues to make strides in artificial intelligence innovation. By fostering a network of certified trainers, the program seeks to position Africa as a hub for AI education, skill-building, and application in real-world scenarios.
The event is expected to draw attention from industry professionals, tech enthusiasts, and those passionate about the intersection of technology and education. It is also a significant milestone in Africa’s ongoing push to build capacity in AI and digital technologies.
