On Saturday, November 29, 2024, the city of Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana witnessed a massive show of unity and commitment to peace as various political parties, individuals, and religious organizations came together for the Volta for Peace Walk.
The walk, which was organized to promote peace ahead of the 2024 general elections scheduled for December 7, 2024, saw participants from all walks of life converge on the Ho Teaching Hospital and march through the streets of Ho to the Jubilee Park.
Holding placards with peace messages, the participants sent a strong message to the nation, emphasizing the need for peaceful coexistence and harmony during and after the elections.
The event was a testament to the power of unity and the commitment of Ghanaians to peace and democracy. With the elections just around the corner, the Volta for Peace Walk served as a timely reminder of the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the country.
As Ghana prepares to go to the polls, the message of peace and unity echoed through the streets of Ho, inspiring hope and confidence in the democratic process.
