The 2024/2025 Volta Regional Football Association division two middle League is set to kick off on June 7, 2025 at the Ho Sports Stadium.
The competition will feature eight (8) teams from Three sectors: Northern Sector, Central Sector and the southern sector.
The Northern Sector is made up of NADM SC and Yadzo Oti Warriors while the Central Sector will be represented by Selion FC and Kpetoe Diamond FC.
The southern sector which has the highest number of teams will be represented by four clubs. The sector will be represented by middle League debutants Aveyime Soccer Wonders and Nugata FC; Akatsi Kickers and former premier league side West African Football Academy (WAFA).
Preview: Group A
Aveyime Soccer Wonders will have their first taste of the middle league as they made it to the sub middle league finishing first in Southern Sector B zone B with 41 points. They scored 29 goals and conceded only 8 goals. They went ahead to finish second in the sub middle league.
Akatsi Kickers FC, winners of Sourthen sector A zone B and runners up of the sub middle league will have yet another chance to fight for a division one league slot as their previous attempts failed. The Akatsi based side finished the zone with 32 points, scoring 25 goals and conceding 7 goals.
Kpetoe based side , Kpetoe Diamond FC with some experience from the 2023/2024 season finished the central sector zone A with 32 points , scoring 21 goals and conceding 8 goals in 16 zonal appearances . They went on to beat Selion FC in the sub middle league play off to be crowned winners of the central sector after both teams finished with 7 points.
Hohoe side NADM SC, secured the middle League spot after finishing Northern Sector zone D with 15 points scoring a total of 15 goals and conceded only 2 goals. They also won the sub middle league in the Northern Sector B.
The group fixtures will be between sector winners and runners up.
