The Volta Regional Football Association division two middle league which is scheduled for June 7, 2025 will bring exciting fixtures in group B as former premier league side continues the fight to return to topflight football in Ghana. The group B is made up Selion FC, Yadzo Oti Warriors FC, Nugata FC and West African Football Academy (WAFA).
Preview: Group B
In group B, Selion FC will represent the central sector with an experience from their last season. They finished the 2024/2025 zonal games with 29 points, scoring 25 goals and conceding 12 goals.
Oti Regional representative, Yadzo Oti Warriors will seek to write their own history as they have grabbed another chance to make a mark from their poor performances in their previous appearances in the middle league. They finished second in their zone with 17 points, scored 16 goals and conceded 4 goals in ten games but secured a middle league spot after winning the sub middle league in Northern Sector A.
Nugata FC, a debutant who finished the zonal games with 30 points behind Akatsi Kickers FC in southern sector A zone B, will play along side experience sides in the group. They scored 25 goals and conceded 6 goals.
They were declared champions of the Sourthen sector A after an impressive performance in the sub middle league.
West African Football Association(WAFA) with rich experiences in the game, will fight to return to topflight football as they lost their 2023/2024 opportunity to Inter Allies.
The academy side completed their zonal games with 54 points and scoring a total of 74 goals and conceded 3 goals with a 100% sub middle League run.
The winner of the middle league will represent the Volta Regional Football Association in the Access Bank Division One League in the 2025/2026 season. The games will run from June 7 through to June 15, 2025.
